P.A.W.S. Field Trip!
(PEQUOD’S for LUNCH)
In Reading and Language Arts, our class read a Persuasive article in Storyworks, “Would You Squash This?” and then we thoroughly collected varying opinions on both sides of the argument about squashing bugs or not. We even posed “It Depends” points for research. Our class is building a strong and convincing Introduction paragraph, so we can continue to grow in confidence as skilled writers. Reading: SSR with a “Comprehension and Connections” gave us an opportunity to finish up a reading session and reflect on all of the literary terms and skills.
